PAN AM AND THE WORLD

My first and longest-running job was with Pan Am, indeed the greatest airline of its day, and 25 years filled with excitement and years of adventure.

Driving Time with Charles Lindbergh

In the summer of 1960, John F. Krimsky's job at Pan Am led to an unforgettable experience with Charles Lindbergh. Tasked with assisting the legendary aviator on visits around New York, Krimsky shielded Lindbergh from autograph seekers and joined him on special excursions. A decade later, they reunited in Osaka, Japan, where Lindbergh presented his historic aircraft to the Japanese Royal Family. Krimsky’s time with Lindbergh inspired his own future in aviation leadership, culminating in a distinguished career with Pan Am and a recognition from the U.S. Postal Service for preserving Lindbergh’s legacy.

Projects & Enterprise

entrepreneur

YankeeNets, LLC in 2000 was joyful, with plenty of home games and exciting championships for the Yankees. One big part of sport-theatrics was missing – timely music. Things have only changed slightly in the last 25 years, so we created and trademarked a venture that we believe can focus sports management's attention on producing new music for fan and player excitement.

Olympics & Events

achievement

A dozen years in Colorado with the United States Olympic Committee was a special assignment that I never regretted for a moment. I started the Olympic Marathon in 1972 in Munich as part of the Pan Am sponsorship and continued meeting Olympians, aspiring athletes, dedicated sponsors, and generous contributors for the next 30 years.
